Middle East/American tourist rant
what's the deal there in Lebanon and Isreal? Not the fighting since that's been going on forever, but the American citizens who are there. And not really because they are there, but more so that intense fighting has erupted and they need to be evacuated. People are complaining because they will have to pay and that it is taking too long. Are these people retarded? What the fuck did you expect. YOU VISITED A COUNTRY THAT HAS BEEN AT WAR FOREVER!!!! And the whole "why do we have to pay??". You know why you have to pay, because you're a fucking moron, thats why. Look, I understand some of these idiots have family there and are visiting. But assume the risk. You shouldn't have went there in the first place. There is a reason why you moved to this country.......because your country sucks. Your family stuck there? Buy them a plane ticket to visit you here. Pretty sure they're not going to have to be rescued. Bottom line, these douchebags decided to visit a place that has been and probably always will be on the brink of self-destruction. These boobs should do nothing but get on the boat or plane and say who do I make the check out to.

Why have those countries been at war? Have you thought about the underlying history? Have you thought about why Israel gets at least $3 billion in US aid per year? Have you thought about what it is like to be a Palestinian - what is their life like? Do any of us here, having the best standard of living, really know? We pay our taxes and have a good life while our government deposes democratically elected leaders and puts dictators in their place, gives multi-million or billion dollar contracts to Halliburton and Betchel - and hmm, I wonder who among our govm't officials have worked for those companies and will again once their 'terms in office' are done, and supports countries even if they commit war crimes ..... because it serves 'our' interest: PROFIT.
Stupid americans - we don't care - it is just another country somewhere else. Another $ in my pocket. We sleep while the rest of the world is starved, raped (resources), and killed under the bootheel of PROFIT supported by the USA.

Anonymous, this blog is for sarcasm, tounge in cheek banter. Please don't over-politiize with your leftist point of view. I was just stating my disdain for those there "vacationing" who were upset because they had to pay to be rescued which I find is a problem with America. I feel as though at times, we, as Americans, expect handouts.
As for your Haliburton, raping resources comment, go join Greenpeace or Sierra club and save some trees. I don't care why those Countries are at war. I guess I'm a stupid American because I spend too much time worrying about MY family, and MY well-being and no time worrying about other countries problems.
